Mysterious Man

Mysterious man.
Loving you is like loving the youth of the soul.
You carry the lessons of precious inflictions and
When overcome act out with wounded intentions.
Am I the first one to be this receptive?
I wonder in his arms at the sight he has projected.
What does he think of himself from where he came?
I see a war behind eyes of glistening beams.
Electric.
Cerebral plane;
Where he walks many hills of pain.
Sometimes.. I catch him reliving a mindset so somber
It once moved forth nations from pillage and plunder.
Separating us is
Him and her.
His ruthless crave and my gentle way
Has us caught in nature's maze.
He is only one half of the mystery.
Stature of a god; his direction fills steps relentlessly.
Definite ideas map his internal business
As secrets in the darkness of minds barricaded tranches.
Mysterious man.
Too often I find you upon this war path
Winding through turns and completely silent.
You try to find yet another way out
At odds with the world and how to live with yourself.
