Instrumental

Is this the song of the rain?
Tapping on the seal is a choir so tame.
Spread forth from the humming breath it began.
I go out to see the chorus a knit.
My world is weaving with the symphony of it.
Tapping within me are blessed chords.
In the hymn my attention keeps warm.
I hear the words and they hear me,
What is speaking is distant,
In my silence you chime steadily.
Washing my soul
Taps your earnest
So bold.
Does your beat tell
The droplets that fell
To captivate those
As they walk through it?
Does the song of rain
Have emotion to gain
Though the language
So tame
Few will hear it?

Time After Time

What a beautiful thought
It was
To hold in my arms
To caress the skull
Smile into the eyes
Everlasting
Yes this moment is mine
I captured it
A rotation of design
How beautiful is this
Oh frame after frame
A bloom I unwind
The image of you came
And as this unfolded
My mind was exposed
A flowering expression
Passing by just as it arose
Thistles out
Grim beauty digressing
There it goes
Becoming in time
A cognitive trove of mine
Where memory petals go
Who will ever know?

~ B

Untitled

Who is it that awaits
The initiation of self?
Whom apprehends placement
So tenderly?
Chained within
I walk this body of dreams.
Out I breathe
The same breath I am in.
